As longtime owners and operators of the local hunting and fishing store in Salmon Arm - Westside Stores (www.westsidestores.ca) - we had recognize a growing demand for a professional, experienced guiding and tour service in Shuswap region. Drawing on our extensive background in fishing and customer service, we launched Bucktail Adventures in 2016.
Our goal is simple: to give our clients an unforgettable day on the water - with the added thrill of battling a unique, genetically distinct strain of trout found only in the pristine waters of Shuswap Lake. As lifelong residents and seasoned anglers, we specialize in targeting Trout, Char, Kokanee, and Chinook Salmon, and we are proud to share our passion and expertise with every guest we take out.

I grew up on a farm in the Salmon Valley, where fishing and hunting were a way of life for my father, three younger brothers and I. From small mountain lakes, rivers and to the larger freshwater lakes in our region, we spent countless hours outdoors. Shuswap Lake has offered up some truly memorable catches.
Now, I am proud to share that passion with others and their families. Whether you're looking to reel in your own catch or simply take in the beauty of the Shuswap, I am committed to working hard and aim to deliver a fun, relaxed day on the lake that feels rewarding as it is unforgettable.

I grew up hunting and fishing the Okanagan Valley alongside my father and brother. It's a way of life we have always cherished, and we are proud to see that love for the outdoors passed down to our daughters - something Jason and I are both proud about.
I manage our social media, websites, working fulltime at Westside Stores and you might also spot me helping to launch the boat.
Jason brings a wealth of knowledge and experience with every trip, working hard to make sure that guest get the very best fishing experience the Shuswap has to offer.
